Description: Change of use of plant/machinery workshop to a recycling and waste transfer station and associated external storage bays.
Comments: I am writing in connection with the proposed change of use to a recycling and waste transfer station at Squires Farm Industrial Estate. The noise from this site already starts early in the morning, during the week and on a Saturday morning. The noise sounds like someone dragging a skip (or some large metal object) across a concrete floor whilst revving a large diesel lorry engine. This can go on all day. This level of noise is completely out of keeping in a area such as this. Adding a recycling and waste transfer station and associated external storage bays would make the situation intolerable. These units were surely designed for lite industry, not the sort of noise impacting companies, currently there. I wish to object to the proposed change of use.
